Dekoriti Craftsmanship Showcased at COLLECTIBLE Brussels 2024

From 7–10 March 2024, selected signature pieces by Belgian designer Thomas Van Noten, founder of Atelier TOGIGI, were exhibited at COLLECTIBLE, the international fair dedicated to contemporary collectible design, held at the Vanderborght Building in Brussels.

Dekoriti was proud to contribute to the presentation as the woodworking and production partner behind the exhibited pieces.

Bringing Atelier TOGIGI’s Vision into Physical Form

The design authorship and creative direction of the collection belong entirely to Thomas Van Noten and Atelier TOGIGI. Dekoriti’s role was to support the realisation of this vision through technical development, material preparation and specialist wood manufacturing.

Working closely with Thomas Van Noten, our team transformed the design concepts into carefully constructed physical pieces while respecting their original proportions, details and character.

Our contribution focused on:

  • Technical development for manufacturing
  • Selection and preparation of wood materials
  • CNC machining and component production
  • Specialist woodworking
  • Assembly and structural execution
  • Surface preparation and finishing
  • Quality control before exhibition

The collaboration required a careful balance between production accuracy and sensitivity to Atelier TOGIGI’s creative language.

Contemporary Design Meets Skilled Manufacturing

Collectible furniture often sits between functional furniture, sculpture and artistic expression. Producing such work requires more than standard furniture manufacturing. Every connection, surface transition and material detail contributes to the identity of the final piece.

For Dekoriti, this collaboration was an opportunity to demonstrate how technical knowledge and skilled craftsmanship can support contemporary design without competing with its authorship.

Our objective throughout the process was to serve the design faithfully and provide the production expertise needed to transform Atelier TOGIGI’s concepts into refined, exhibition-ready objects.

Presented at COLLECTIBLE

The seventh edition of COLLECTIBLE took place from 7–10 March 2024 at the Vanderborght Building in Brussels.

The fair brought together galleries, designers, collectors, institutions and professionals from the international design community, with a focus on unique pieces, limited editions and experimental contemporary work.

Having furniture produced by our team presented within this context was a proud moment for Dekoriti and an important reflection of the manufacturing and woodworking expertise available in Kosovo.

A Collaboration Built on Respect

Successful designer–manufacturer collaborations depend on clear communication, trust and mutual respect.

Thomas Van Noten and Atelier TOGIGI brought the creative concept, design language and artistic direction. Dekoriti contributed the woodworking knowledge, technical problem-solving and production capability required to manufacture the pieces.

The final works represent the result of this collaboration: Atelier TOGIGI’s design vision realised through precise material execution and experienced craftsmanship.

We are grateful to Thomas Van Noten and Atelier TOGIGI for entrusting Dekoriti with the production of these signature pieces, and proud to see our workmanship presented to an international audience in Brussels.
