We are proud to celebrate an important achievement in Dekoriti’s design journey: Xeni Imperial, designed by Lion Morina of Dekoriti, was recognised as a winner of both the BIG SEE Interior Design Award 2019 and the BIG SEE Tourism Design Award 2019.
This double recognition places the project among the distinguished interior and hospitality designs presented through the BIG SEE platform, highlighting the quality, originality and experience created through its architecture and interior design.
A Distinctive Hospitality Interior in Prishtina
Located on the outskirts of Prishtina, Xeni Imperial was conceived as a destination that would offer visitors more than a conventional restaurant experience.
Its elevated location provides views towards the city, while the interior creates a refined and immersive atmosphere for dining, celebrations and social occasions.
Completed in 2019, the project covers a total area of 155.3 square metres and brings together architecture, custom interior elements and carefully selected materials within one coherent design language.
Inspired by the Experience of a Luxury Yacht
The interior concept draws inspiration from the atmosphere of a luxury yacht.
Wood, marble and mirrored surfaces are combined to create depth, movement and visual richness. The curved forms, reflective details and carefully composed lighting contribute to an environment that feels elegant, distinctive and removed from the rhythm of everyday city life.
Rather than relying only on decoration, the design uses materials, proportions and spatial composition to create a complete experience. The result is an interior that feels luxurious while remaining comfortable and welcoming.
International Recognition for Design from Kosovo
Receiving both the BIG SEE Interior Design Award and the BIG SEE Tourism Design Award represents an important recognition of design created in Kosovo.
For Dekoriti, the award also reflects our belief that strong interiors emerge through the close relationship between creative vision, technical development, material understanding and skilled execution.
Projects such as Xeni Imperial demonstrate how locally developed design and manufacturing knowledge can produce spaces that are relevant on an international level.
